Please note: you are not purchasing food. You are simply sponsoring food box(es) to bless your community. By proceeding, you understand that these food boxes are not for your own personal use, but are to be given, at no cost, to an individual or family that you believe qualifies as low income or is in need of food assistance.
Blessings of Hope is a "Food Bank" with a mission of empowering other organizations to reach out to the needs within the community with food and acts of love.
All food is given in good faith and Blessings of Hope assumes no liability for the food being distributed. Food may not be sold or bartered for any reason.
Please have your box orders in one week in advance to ensure the food boxes will be packed and ready for delivery.
If you need to cancel your order within 3 days of your delivery, we will redirect the food to another outreach on your behalf. If we have at least 3 days' notice you can reschedule the delivery for a different day, but no refunds will be provided.
If you do not have the capacity to manage an outreach, you can sponsor boxes that Blessings of Hope will distribute. (Select at check out)
Due to rising costs associated with packing these food boxes, we are adjusting the price to cover the costs as well.
We prepack the food boxes with whatever food items we have available. Each box usually has a nice assortment of fresh and shelf-stable foods inside. We do not customize boxes for you.
Note: While most of the food in the box is in date food, we do distribute food past the "best by" date on the package. Cancelation Policy: Up to 3 days before your scheduled delivery or pickup, you can reschedule the delivery for a different day at no cost. To keep things fresh and reduce waste, if you need to cancel your order within 3 days of your delivery, we will redirect the food that we were reserving for your order to another outreach on your behalf. The funds you donated for the outreach will still be utilized for their intended purpose, and the food we were reserving for your boxes will still be utilized. Just in a different city.
In no case is Blessings of Hope responsible to refund the Handling Fee Donation we received when the order was placed.
You can sponsor any number of boxes you want, pick them up at our Ministry Selection Center in Lancaster, PA, and distribute them to people you know that need food. You can also sponsor boxes that we can send into the inner-city areas and we can do the outreaches.
Blessings of Hope is a nonprofit food distribution center serving food banks. Our mission is to empower other organizations to efficiently reach their community with food and acts of love. Due to our limited capacity and our model of operation, we cannot serve the individual needs of the general public at our facility.
